GmailByDefault XP
GmailByDefault XP is a free desktop utility for Windows XP that will set your Windows default mail client for mailto links to Google Gmail. After running the utility, clicking on a mailto link will launch Gmail in your default browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome etc). Works for Google Apps for Domains as well as personal mail.

Zedlan WideAwake is a free Wake-on-LAN utility that can wake up single or multiple hosts, and can automatically build up a host database of your network to save you having to find MAC addresses.
